O Mary),
Virgin and most holy Mother,
I have received your beloved Son,
whom you conceived in your immaculate womb,
raised and nourished at your breast, and embraced with love.
The same Son whose presence filled you with joy,
I present and offer to you with love and humility. Embrace him,
love him with your heart, and offer him in supreme worship to the Most Holy Trinity,
for your honor and glory, for my needs, and for the needs of the whole world.
I ask you, most compassionate Mother,
to obtain for me the forgiveness of all my sins and abundant grace to serve God with greater faithfulness from this moment forward.
Finally, obtain for me the grace of final perseverance,
so that I may praise him with you
forever and ever.
Amen.
Mary leads to Jesus
Calling Mary Mother of the Savior recognizes her unique relationship with Jesus Christ and her free response to God's plan. Marian prayer does not end with Mary: it asks her intercession and learns from her to hear the Word, serve, and remain close to Christ in difficulty.
Offer an intention and finish by reading a Gospel passage about Mary, such as Luke 1:26-38 or John 2:1-11. Then turn prayer into availability to someone who needs help.
