The Lord's Prayer is the best-known and most widely prayed Christian prayer in the world. According to the Gospel of Matthew, it was given to us by Jesus Christ himself. An Aramaic version of this beloved prayer is associated with the Mount of Olives.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
