My beloved Lord, my eternal God, I praise and glorify you. To you belong all honor and glory.
I place all my hope in you. I trust in you, wait for you, and seek you.
You, my Lord, never tire of lifting me up. You extend your holy hand, care for me, and protect me.
Great and only God, giver of life and Spirit of joy, praised and blessed forever.
Now we can examine our conscience, ask forgiveness for any sins we have committed, and resolve to change.
Have mercy, Lord, have mercy. I recognize that I have failed you, and I deeply regret that my actions add another thorn to the crown you bore on the day of your Crucifixion for our salvation. I know that my offenses bring sorrow to your heart. I repent and beg you to forgive me and help me walk wherever your light is reflected. Amen.
