Bless the person who is driving. Grant them attention, sound judgment, and humility to stop when rest is needed. Keep away distractions and haste that can place lives in danger. May we use every safety measure correctly and follow the instructions of those who care for roads, stations, ports, and airports.
We bring before you all who are also traveling: those on their way to work, those visiting family, those seeking rest, and those forced to leave home by necessity. Make us kind and ready to assist someone who is lost or experiencing difficulty.
Care for the people who remain at home and wait to hear from us. Help us stay in contact and return with gratitude, shared memories, and a renewed appreciation for ordinary life.
If there is a delay, breakdown, or unexpected change, keep us from reacting aggressively. Give us clarity to ask for help and make safe decisions.
