Prayer
Lord Jesus, divine physician,
you healed the sick,
restored sight to the blind,
and raised the dead.
Today I come to you in faith,
asking you to touch my suffering body
and restore my health.
If it is your will, heal me completely.
But if I must carry this cross,
give me strength to bear it patiently
and unite it with your suffering on the cross.
Heal my soul as well:
free me from resentment, fear, and sadness.
Fill my heart with your peace
and my mind with hopeful thoughts.
Bless the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who look after me.
May they be instruments of your healing love.
I trust in you, Lord,
for you are my refuge and my strength.
