Prayer for Success
Lord, I place my plans and work in your hands. Grant me wisdom to make good decisions, humility to learn, courage to persevere, and peace when results take time.
Bless my efforts, my family, and the people with whom I work. Keep me from pride and dishonesty, and let every success become an opportunity to serve others and give you thanks.
Guide me toward work that is honest, useful, and worthy. May I use every gift you have given me responsibly. Amen.
What Christian success means
Success is not simply earning more or obtaining every desired result. It can mean working honestly, developing your gifts, serving others well, and refusing to sacrifice health, family, or conscience. Prayer asks for wisdom and perseverance rather than a guaranteed outcome.
After praying, make a realistic plan, prepare carefully, seek advice, and review the risks. Providence does not replace effort or qualified guidance. If a project fails, consider what you can learn and whether a different path may now be possible.
