Today I need your confidence and security. If a stable job is part of the gift God has prepared for me, guide my steps along the right path. Keep me from discouragement, conflict, and obstacles that would prevent me from seeking honest work.
Fill my soul with your will, renew my hope, and strengthen my body, my working hands, and my weary face. May dignified work never be lacking in my life. Holy Spirit, spread your grace through my life so that the work I need may come in the right way and at the right time.

Jesus, eternal heavenly Father,
my Father, my guide, my strength, I speak to you, my Savior.
Here is your child, a sinner who nevertheless adores you.
I praise you for your love, eternal goodness, and the security you give us, Father.
For you all things are possible, and your grace is immense. You never abandon me; even in anguish, you do not let go of my hand. You are bread, life, love, and consolation. Your light guides me through darkness. I come before you on my knees, beloved Father, asking once again for your goodness and protection.
I know that in your hand I need not fear and will not lack what I truly need. You, Lord of goodness, help those who are burdened. I ask you to ease my worries and hear my petition. Relieve my pain and distress.
My risen Jesus, see my needs and help me bear them. I ask you, my Father, for new work. I need employment to provide for my family.
I know your plans are perfect, even when I feel trapped. I bring this work-related petition before you.
In your great goodness, do not let me fall. With you I need not fear, and I will find relief. Grant my request in the time and way that is best.
