Before closing my eyes, I offer this night prayer to thank God. At the end of this day, with my lips and heart, I say good night, heavenly Father.

I thank you for all that your love has given us. We have many faults, and you have infinite forgiveness.
Tomorrow will be a better day to serve you and remain at your side. May this night prayer help me rest peacefully.
We feel protected in your arms. Almighty Father, protect us and grant us your blessing.
Father, before I sleep, I thank you for the joy that fills my heart at the close of day.
Praised be Almighty God; glory to the Son, our Savior, and glory to the Holy Spirit.
I come to you in trust to thank you for your protection throughout this day and for keeping me safe.
I offer you every breath, my soul, and every beat of my heart as a prayer of reparation.

Lord, look with love upon our families tonight and give them your blessing. Comfort their sorrows, heal their pain, and provide for their needs. Keep us in your heart and allow us to rest in peace. May our hearts belong completely to you. Amen.

My Lord, I am going to rest, but before I sleep, forgive everything I have not done well today. Forgive what has not pleased you and the ways I may have failed. Cleanse my heart and mind, so that this rest may help me be better tomorrow. Bless my dreams and those of my family. Amen.

Beloved Jesus
Cover me with your peace. In the silence of the night, my conscience speaks and reveals how limited my will can be, shaped by worldly things and poverty of heart.
Do not abandon me in my weakness; forgive me.
May your merciful gaze accompany me tonight and help me awaken to a life of holiness.
Tonight I ask for your mercy to reach my heart, for I need your forgiveness to free my life from the misery of sin.
Look upon me: there is pain in my soul, and the world imprisons me with selfishness and vanity.
